We've assembled 14 properties across six regions — from 12-guest Muskoka estates to intimate six-person hideaways in Mulmur. Some have Finnish saunas and cold plunges for contrast therapy. Some have indoor and outdoor hot tubs. One has two hot tubs and a private steam room. The Scottsdale villa has a full pool, spa, and separate hot tub for those who prefer the desert in winter.

Traditional dry heat at 80–100°C, typically followed by a cold plunge or lake swim. The Finnish sauna ritual is centuries old and the most researched form of heat therapy. Balsam Wellness Retreat and 4 Season Escape both have full Finnish saunas.
Lower temperature (50–65°C), deeper tissue penetration. Preferred by guests who find traditional saunas too intense, or who want longer sessions without the intensity of dry heat. SimcoeSunsets on Lake Simcoe has a full infrared sauna suite.

Muskoka rewards guests who move between activities — a morning kayak, a lakeside lunch, an afternoon in the hot tub, then dinner in Bracebridge or Port Carling. The district has 1,600 lakes and an arts and restaurant scene that has quietly become one of Canada's best summer destinations.
Muskoka's lakes are magnificent for early morning kayaking before the powerboats are out. Most wellness properties come with kayaks or canoes. Best done first thing, then return to the hot tub.

Lake Simcoe is legendary for winter ice fishing — some of the best perch and lake trout in Ontario. A sauna after two hours on the ice is one of life's genuine pleasures.

Board the Island Queen for a narrated cruise through the world's largest freshwater archipelago — a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve. A two-hour trip most Ontarians have never taken.

Home of the WM Phoenix Open — two championship courses with the famous stadium par-3 16th. An 8-minute walk from the villa. Book the Stadium Course well in advance in January and February.
Pinnacle Peak Park, McDowell Sonoran Preserve, and Camelback Mountain offer extraordinary desert trail hiking with mountain and valley views. Start before 8am — the Sonoran Desert heats quickly.
